it's my birthday tomorrow! =D yay! HAHAH. but i'm super happy, cause the CLARINETS sang the birthday song to me! like after fall out, then when we were walking to the band room, then they started singing, then i thought it was for somebody else. HAHAH. but it was for me! =D

THANK YOU CLARINETS~! HAHA.

and Dhivya! for the mars! and the marshmallows. HAHA. i have the rest with me, and can i give it to Brenda? HAHA. she's been asking me for it! =P

haha. anyways, i feel that the CLARINETS are more bonded than classmates. it's my personal feeling lah. of course. but we only have practices for 9hours a week, but we see our classmates for like 6-7hours in a day.

and we're not close. maybe it's too much time together, hence we don't get so close. haha. but i think the CLARINETS have one common thing in our heads. haha. but i don't know what's that.

anyways, flashback flashback! to last sunday! the week before the CNY sunday. haha. 7feb '10~ okays, so i went with Janelle and Kelly for 1st service. haha. cause they were doing actions for 2nd service and i didn't wanna get left alone, so i went with them.

and in the end, i was the first to reach. lol. i knew i shouldn't have left the house to early lah. haha. but there was Cheryl to talk to! YAY! haha. then when the both of them finally came, we went up to the chapel with Faith Tiew! =D haha.

and we had to sit in front. cause there was soooo many people! haha. but it's a whole new experience altogether. 1st service doesn't need the translator, which is good. cause no time is wasted while doing the translating

then announcements was really funny. hahaha. so humorous. hahah. and Clara publicized VBC! haha. i'm so going to help out =D haha. but the video was really funny loh. haha. and they're using last year's CM camp theme! haha. =D

okays. so the sermon was good. =D haha. about preparation for ministry. =)

then we went to Subway~

okays. so then went to my grandma's house for an early reunion dinner. haha.

fastforward fastforward...to CNY eve! 13feb '10~went to Ah Ma's house for reunion dinner. the first family there, as usual. haha. did my homework there too. finished up history and most of the maths homework.

but i don't get it. why must we have homework when we're supposed to be celebrating?! it's so pointless. and every subject gives homework. and with the band schedule, i don't actually have alot of time to do homework! =X

okays. so anyways, gave up trying to do maths. hahah. then other cousins came, then started slacking, slacked for quite long. haha. and i didn't eat dinner until quite late, cause i wanted to drink the red wine. hahah. and if i didn't eat, my parents didn't let me drink it! =P

haha. so then another one of my cousins' going to Ngee Ann Poly. haha. my mother was from NP, and another 2 of my cousins are studying in NP now. argh. it's like family tradition. haha. but i don't wanna go NP. i wanna go VJC! or SAJC, if i don't actually make it. HAHAH.

okays. so then had a wonderful night, cause we were celebrating Yiwen's 21st! haha. =D but i was funny. and she was really sporting lah, like continuing to banter with my aunt, and not being a sore loser about being asked to dance or wear her presents and pose. HAHAH.

so, then the usual. give ang bao. then wathc tv, then go home. HAHAH. so fun.

then the first day! it has special meaning to me. other than it being valentine's day. it's a Sunday, and it's my Chinese birthday! cause i was born on the first day of CNY, every first day of CNY is my birthday too! =D

so then woke up really late, then left the house at 1130. it's early! YAY! then went to grandma's house, then slacked there, bai nian, then my aunt did my hair for me! so nice loh. like first time having my hair done up =D i'm normally the just comb then can already kind. HAHA.

okays, so then went different places visiting, then when we went to my grandpa's place, he had a birthday cake for me! =D awww....so touched. =) my first birthday cake in a very very long while. i think the last one was when i was 6? haha. but the most memorable was when i was 3, and i had a tweety bird cake. and there was only me and my parents that time. =)

and we celebrated it at my Ah Ma's bedok house, which was sold away i think quite some time ago. =(

okays. so then the rest of the day was spent visiting, the 2nd day also. haha. and then on the 3rd day, we left the house really late, like afternoon. haha. we went to my dad's teacher's place. at jurong! haha. we go there every year. =)

then he has two dogs! haha. so cute. one is the empress dowager of the house, and she bites. but she's really old, 8 years old. which is like 50-60 plus in dog years. am i right? haha. and there's another one that just went outside their door, and he's nicer. =D

okays. so then we went to safra jurong. but i think it bored me. it definitely did. haha. then we went to kallang leisure park cuase my brother wanted to eat dinner. we ate sushi! =D

then we went home. duh. haha. then it was school time! =( haha.

but school was okay. on wed. lit was fun. haha. i look forward to lit lesson now! =D haha. then it was sectional day. and our tutor came. we did the last page of persis and some of overture jubiloso. haha.

then today, lessons sucked. it was mostly boring lah. haha. then after school we had maths remedial, which was boring cause mr eng insisted that me and Fiona went over to his class. suck-ish. then we went for band.

and then the 1st clarinetists weren't here cause of some random stuff. the matches and CSP. haha. then miss sia was mad lah. and i got scolded by her cause i played wrong note. how was i to know lah?

anyways, she did the last page of persis. from bar 114! =) then it was okay mostly. cause the ones that got on her nerves were the timpani player and the trumpters and the horns. haha. then when it got to the last page, the 3rd clarinets [aka me and Carolyn Chow and Qi Yang and Kahei] were playing it like super alot of times cause we played the melody. HAHAH.

then the 2nd clarinets got chased out by miss sia cause they couldn't play the last page of running notes. and then we also kenna cause we also have running notes, at the bar 194. sad. two lines of running notes. argh. but it wasn't that bad. thank God that at least she didn't test one by one. =D

okays. so yeah. miss sia is great lah, if you step on her landmines. haha. but mostly, we do. then during fall out, Brenda and Jemima were encouraging us that we'd look like we're going to die, then smile, and ignore all the *toot* *toot* *toot* and listen to the constructive ones, like practice more. HAHA.

then i got daddy to fetch me! =D but i wanted to go buy mars. sad. but daddy came earlier than that. then i couldn't. =( and i left Carolyn Ying alone to go buy her stuff. awww. =)

hahahahahahahahaha. and i think my battery's gonna die soon. haha. bye people. =D

Number 306

i love jogging! haha. it's insane lah. haha. i like jogging. haha. but yeah, i'm really happy with what i did today. it's another milestone =D i ran 1.6km without stopping! YAY~ hahah. it's never happened before, and though i ran slowly, i still didn't stop. HAHA.

and i almost died when i finished. haha. but thank God for the perseverance and the strength He gave. and the ability to recover faster than usual. =D haha.

anyways, last tuesday, me and Nadja ran i think 1.2km in 10min! HAHA, and we didn't stop too! and we still had time to chat with Miss Thang while jogging. haha. but last tuesday was really special. i ran, but i didn't feel tired or breathless. HAHA. they only hit after finishing. haha. but today, i was still tired while running, but not breathless. haha.

yeah. anyways, i've been sleeping in class. haha. almost everyday, i'll feel tired and sleep maybe like 5min or something. haha. but i thank Cedar for that. for training me to sleep to readily and to love sleeping so much. haha.

nowadays, the moment i lie down on my bed, i fall asleep and cannot wake up in time the next morning. HAHA. and i treasure my sleep time too! haha. all taught to me by Cedar. thanks ah.

haha. and i still owe Jingwen sushi! haha. cause she treated me to sushi! haha. but i'm not paying interest! =P

haha. but yeah. i love literature! though it's hard to score, but i love it! especially now that we're doing film! haha. so fun, get to watch videos, and still get to analyse them. haha. now i'm like more sensitive to the music used. haha. lotsa band music's used!! =D

and and and, during the prayer group meeting last friday, it totally rocked. cause like we were doing popcorn prayer, then like everyone prayed, except me. so then when the bell rung, i was like voluteering to close.

so like, i don't actually know what spurred me to close, but i just did. then throughout the whole prayer meeting i had been feeling this really weird feeling. then when i closed, i felt God touch! =D

it's so awesome. like God's presence had been there all the time while we were praying. which is really really awesome. it just goes to show that not only during powerful praise and worship or powerful prayer or church camps do you feel God's touch. even during prayer meetings like ours, which may seem insignificant, God is here! =D

okays. so. yesterday, while we were using the laptops for during lesson, i was like on facebook, and talking to Isabel on msn. HAHA. and i was totally not listening loh. HAHAH. =P

and i watched this really funny video which was introduced to me by Eunice! haha. i shall post it here! =D
