okays. so i haven't been blogging for super long. HAHA. anyway, for NBC, we got 1st in second division, with a percentage of 85.00%, GOLD WITH HONOURS! :D :D super happy and surprised lah. but anyway, it was still awesome.
and it was only by God's grace that we could have gotten such awesome results. :)
and so the next day Aaron and Caleb came back from Cambodia. heh. so random. oh, had lunch with JR and we chatted in subway for super long. haha. :P
anyway, nothing much during the week, only that the end of the week came super fast. haha. and i almost went for PPT rehearsal with Faith Tiew, only that she couldn't get up on time. haha. then the next day i got cookies! hehe. Aaron baked them. awesome. :D
and i totally can't believe he bakes. heh. oh wells.
went for lunch with Kelly at mos. HAHA. then went to the library. hehe. did some homework, then waited for my parents with Janelle at the bus stop. hehe.
so, the next week came and went in a flash, albeit with more memorable things. :) monday was the english oral, was quite okay, i guess. got Mdm Audra as my examiner. she's super nice. but who knows whether she's a strict examiner anot leh.
anyway, so then tuesday was a lil slacker cause there wasn't maths. HAHA. a day without maths lesson will be super slack. which is really awesome lah. HAHA.
then wednesday was awesome. HAHA. it was racial harmony day, so people turned up in the ethnic costumes. hehe. interesting to see teachers wearing the costumes too. then had really slack lessons that day, then recess and TOP were simply bliss.
TOP was the racial harmony day thingy like Cedar Fiesta. haha. 2C did five stones. super slack cause nobody came my class just cause we weren't blasting music like every other class. HAHA. so i ended up slacking in class. then the second half of TOP was the stupid mass dance thingy. and some talk about YOG. :S
anyway, there wasn't band that day, so i had lunch with Aaron! :D at parkway. and he was super late. super duper uber late. heh. had pepper lunch. awesome. then we sorta walked around parkway looking at clothes. -.-
went to starbucks after that. haha. slacked, talked, chatted. chatted alot. haha. about cca and stuff. like in school. haha. and i finally know his cca. hehe. archery. and a pro somemore. yeap. so he was sharing about his experiences and stuff like that. super funny. HAHA.
hehe. then he saw me home lah. haha. saw Stella on the bus. haha. so cool. she hasn't changed at all. not a single bit. anyway, so i was complaining to her about my chinese oral which is this tuesday. haha.
yeah. did i mention he gave me more cookies? HAHA. baked with more sugar this time. hehe. i liked it. :D :D
thursday was super funny. haha. cause during band, Ms Sia came, and she called me Hamster. cause i was cute. wah. awesome lah. and she asked me to play the octave notes for the iRecommend thingy.
super shocked. she could have called Shiree aka Squirrel or Carolyn Ying aka Chipmunk. HAHA. and i'm in 3rd clar. and then the rest of the section's saying that i'll just miraculously get moved to 1st clar. i really want that too, but i don't know if i can meet the expectations of Ms Sia.
and whether i can just even maintain my tone. or maybe try to improve, at least. and of course, i'm still not ready to give up the melody at bar 174 of Persis for tons of running notes. but i'd still love to go to 1st clar. the awesome solos are so enticing.
anyway, so on friday, there was the National Day rehearsal at school. (that's why wednesday's band prac was cancelled) it was super short, cause the sec3s had to leave at 4.30pm for the MTP. so we got let off at around 5pm.
haha. went with Carolyn [Duck and Ying], Shiree, Qiyang (WHO WAS PRACTICALLY INVISIBLE THE WHOLE TIME) and Hannah for dinner at potong pasir macs. super funny. the addition of Hannah to our section dinner was the awesome-est thing to do. HAHA.
then we walked ALL THE WAY back to the 135 bus stop to take 100 to Singapore Conference Hall for the Meiden High School band concert. hehe. met Jingwen, Victoria and Mavia there. saw Mrs Lim there too! she was soo funny. haha. she took the bus just to listen to Shinee. HAHAHA.
anyway, all of us sat at the back and talked. alot. HAHA. i think the people on the bus were overjoyed when we got down. HAHA. then we got there just in time lah. around 7.15pm. hehe. the concert started at 7.30pm.
anyway, it was awesome. more awesome than the TKGS concert. haha. of course lah, they're from Japan leh. and being so awesome, they're only a silver band. imagine the gold bands in Japan. they'd be more awesome. ohmygosh.
anyway, they had 3 encores, and we gave them several standing ovations. they were really soo good. and Deep Purple Medley was AWESOME. i'm so stuck on it now. hehe. and their clarinets are soooooo loud! and their tone is so good. so much better than ours. and their timpani player. power. her rolls were just plain awesome. haha. really good.
and it was only $20. totally worth it. HAHA.
the concert ended around 10pm. haha. daddy came to fetch me. hehe. and he sent Huishan, Suyi, Carolyn Ying and Qiyang to paya lebar mrt. HAHA. they were super funny. cause they wanted to drop off at another mrt (which i conveniently forgotten about).
so then me and Suyi called Qiyang thrice at the exactly same time to call them back so we could send them to paya lebar so it would be easier for them to get home. HAHA. epic man, i tell you.
HAHA. saturday was awesome too! went to church for PPT rehearsal in the afternoon. hehe. then went with Joeseph and Caleb to feifei to eat. HAHA. must give credit to Joseph for driving us there. HAHA.
oh, we talked about things that only the oldest siblings would know, cause we were all the eldest. hehe. so funny. awesome time. HAHA. then Aaron gave me a lift home. HAHA. he's not that dangerous a driver after all. hehe.
then today, went to church early for PPT. haha. i didn't play lah. Shalyn was the one playing. hehe. just sat there and watched. it was awesome lah, anyway. HAHA. we did Making A Difference. that song's just plain awesome. :)
and Aaron once again impressed Sheila, Kelly and Janelle with his magic tricks. HAHA. and Sheila's saying it's haunted and stuff. but i must admit, it's actually pretty impressive. HAHA.
bus-ed home. alone. haha. i need somebody to send me home! i'm sooo tired of walking here and there. and bus-ing here and there too. HAHA.
oh wells, school tomorrow. bleh. timetable changed AGAIN. i think it's the third or fourth time this year. RAWR.
anyway, looking forward to friday! Festival Of Praise! can't wait. Planet Shakers are coming! along with Don Moen. HAHA. yay! :D
