VIVACE I was AWESOME! i was like on a high after performing loh. HAHA. and i was really really overjoyed that Aaron came! =D and he brought Jingyang too! =D haha. more people coming to support us. woohoo! haha. and it wasn't that bad. HAHA. to tone deaf people at least. HAHA. =P

i really miss the sec4s. miss just their presence during band pracs and trying their hardest to teach us juniors how to play the song, how to improve our tone and such. =)

Cheryl! : AWESOME SL! i'll never forget the 155 rides with Carolyn Ying after band. =D although it reduced to only on wednesdays, i really treasured the time spent on the bus chatting. =) great way to bond! =D haha. and i'll use your instrument if Miss Sia says we can change our instruments kay? =D haha. i'll take great and awesome care of her. =D

Dhivya! : haha. HILARIOUS ASL! haha. your laugh's unforgettable! and soooo distinctive! =D when you laugh, the whole section joins in! =D haha. you really liven up the section and bring out the spirit of the CLARINET section! =D hahah. and jiayou for CSP! haha. don't say "wo shi tang guo" again! HAHAHAH. Miss Wee will be very sad! =S

Kahei! : AWESOME MENTOR! haha. the best 3rd clarinet! =D haha. well, at least compared to us you're the best lah. HAHA. yeah. i'll miss you =( there won't be anybody to teach me how to play our part! =( and share your experience with us. i'll really miss you! blurblur de. haha. and jiayou for jap! HAHAAH. and must come back next year during speech day kay? i wanna see you receive a prize! =D

Huishan! : woohoo! FORMER UNDERSTUDY! haha. lol. i still remember you kept your instrument super fast when you were still an understudy! haha. but i guess you STILL keep your instrument really fast eh? HAHA. awesome. you musn't grow taller kay? then it'll be easier to talk to you! =D HAHA.

Xinhui! : hahaha. BIMBO! hahahah. i think i shan't call you bimbo anymore lah. haha. though you behave like one. HAHA. anyways, i decided not to take your instrument. though it's like really shiny and all. haha. but Jingwen says there's something stuck inside! haha. so it's really hard to blow! awwww... it's been hard on you! HAHAHA.

Diyanah! : did i spell your name correctly? HAHAHA. i'm still not sure about the spelling of your name. =( haha. anyways, you're nice! HAHAAHA. didn't know you really well. oh well, we'll go on section outing kay? then we'll bond really well! =D

so VIVACE I's over. it's ended. and now our next goal is this year's National Band Competition. we're playing Persis, so everybody's practising real hard for it this time. and yesterday when Mr Ong tested the running notes one by one, i rumbled up. it was a little messy, not precise. i believe it because we're not committed enough.

VIVACE I was a great experience, a first for Cedar Symphonic Band. =) despite the long practices that we had, and the moving of the instruments from the band room to the auditorium. and the freezing auditorium. and of course, Mr Ong wearing red shirts and sitting on the chairs and blending in to the chairs. =P

so, everybody gave their best, especially the sec4s, i believe. and the soloists. =D

anyway, the section wore the section tee! =D awesome! haha. and 10 of us went for section lunch before going for band! haha. all the sec4s, and all the sec2s except Qiyang. oh wells. then we were late for band, then we brisk walked from Potong Pasir MRT station to school and make it back in time for fall-in. HAHAH.

so funny. =)

then we had practice in the auditorium. =) it was really really cold! haha. then until 5.30pm, we had dinner. then must change. haha. 6.30pm back for warm-up. haha. and we left the instruments in the auditorium, during which they didn't turn off the air-con, and the instruments were really cold, and extremely FLAT! =S

so then i was desperately blowing warm air into the Clarinet. even when we were waiting back stage before entering, until i saw stars. =S haha. but still, i was in tune! =D awesome. HAHA.

yeah. then after that, cause Aaron brought his camera, i got him to take section photos for us. =D haha. but not everybody was there. sad. =( oh well, i'll just tag them somewhere randomly in the photo then. HAHA.

and Kahei cried really really badly after we went backstage! =( then my eyes started to water. really. i'll miss them all. extremely.

oh oh oh! we played an encore piece! =D Disco Lives! =D awesome. haha. it was the most fun song to play! haha. and the whole section stood up TWICE for Clarinet solos! =D

i'm feeling really emo now. HAHA. cause the sec4 seniors had their last band prac today! =( maybe not the last, since there's still a band prac before the concert on saturday. HAHA. but yeah, i still feel sad. especially when we were practicing in the auditorium, then the juniors had to play auld lang syne and the seniors had to leave the stage.

and it was damn paiseh lah! playing the clarinet part. HAHA. so dumb. but i like. who knows why. HAHA. anyways, i'm still super sad. the sec4s are leaving! no fair. haha. i'm being like a spoilt brat. anyways, who cares?

HAHA. so on wednesday, when it was their last sectionals, they gave us a talk. haha. like some things that they had to tell us before they left and not be bad seniors to the juniors. and such. then then then cause they specially mentioned Jingwen, she was soooooo touched that she cried! AWWWW..... hahaa. plus she was having the flu that day. =(

haha. anyways. i personally feel that this batch of sec4s and Jingwen are the best seniors ever. HAHA. i'm not listing the other people cause i hardly see them and am not that bonded with them as with Jingwen and the sec4s. HAHA. especially Jingwen. cause she's my buddy! HAHA.

okay. anyways, last saturday was speech day. we played american graffiti and it sounded AWESOME! haha. we've really improved lah. and thanks to miss sia too. =D anyways, after that, got pulled by Jingwen to go for the marching bands assessments and SYF display bands thingy.

so then went with most of the Horn section and Jingwen and Carolyn for lunch at Kallang leisure, then went to the indoor stadium. haha. lol. Amanda led the way there. so, on the bus, i found out that Victoria was from Kong Hwa too! =D

haha. and i never knew. she was a prefect too...hmmm. why haven't i seen her in school before? HAHA. and i think she was from the brass band. haha. and she didn't know that there's a choir in school. wow. fantastic Victoria. great job. =P

yupyup. spent like the whole day there, then after it finished at like 8, we took the bus to marine parade, then me and Carolyn [YING!] went to subway. HAHA. for dinner. haha. then i reached home at 9plus.

HAHA. but the bands were awesome like. and Bowen band played Persis! and it was awesome. HAHA. they got a gold for last year's SYF too! haha. anyways, then Deyi's band was like the best loh. their drum major didn't drop the mase for all the throws that he did, except when somebody knocked into him. HAHA.

and their band sounded really really good. with the marching and all that. =D and TK band sounded good too. really good. HAHA.

yeahyeah. so. that was about it. hahaha.

so. everybody's advertising VIVACE I on facebook and msn. HAHA. lovely ten bucks tickets. =D and and and so far, band night's tickets sales are the highest among all the other performance nights! =D AWESOME~

woohoo. thank God! by God's Grace, we've got like alot of people coming to watch us perform! i'm so happy, and yet so nervous. but i anticipate it! =D i love the thrill of performing! =D

haha. so yeah. my hands are itching to get on facebook, and i need to go bathe! =P

i haven't posted in a long long while. haha.well, i was pretty lazy. oh wells. haha. VBC was fun! not only was it fun to take care of the kids and all, but it was a really meaningful camp. =D i really learnt alot, in a sense. from the lessons the kids had. haha. but it was a really great time to get right with God again.

so. monday was hectic. went to Joey's house in the afternoon to do the Chinese project. haha. and ended up calling alot alot of people. HAHAH. well. they were really helpful. haha. thankyou to all those that helped me! =D

okays. then went home to get my stuff, then went to church! =D haha. went there for consecration. time of awesome praise. =D then hmmm, there was like sorta like sermon by Taiyong. really awesome.

it was what really motivated me to get right with God again. from the bottom of my heart, i mean it.

then. then. consecration was until 10plus. but anyways, thank God for the time in the fellowship hall. cause there wasn't supposed to be electricity until 10plus that night, and we had to have it at the rooftop. but by God's grace, there was electricity! =D

okays. then then, Janelle and i stayed over. haha. we slept in the mini creche! =D so fun. haha. with Andrea, Cheryl, Clara and Zhangwei. haha. and my facial wash became communal lah. haha. cause it was shared among everybody. HAHA. well. i don't mind lah.

haha. well, hmmm. oh yeah. we went out for teh peng! hahaha. is that how it's spelled? haha. ah, who cares? hmmm. yup. me, Janelle, Aaron and Gavin. haha. it was like hilarious lah. Janelle talking on the phone, then Aaron interrupting. HAHAHAHAHAH.

oh. then the teh peng did me no good. hahah. i couldn't actually sleep the whole night, and when i fell asleep, it was a very light sleep. sigh. advice: never drink teh peng at night. like 10plus?! hahah. and from what i know, Janelle and Aaron couldn't sleep too! hahaha.

yupyup. so. woke up the next morning like at 7, and we were supposed to pray at 7.30 haha. wow. so, the sheperds [like me lah] went to blow balloons and move chairs. hahahaha. it was fun. then after moving chairs, we had to blow balloons. oh, what fun.

haha. so. then when i was finally done. i went to see the kids in my group! =D so happy. haha. Shi En was in my group. nice little girl. haha. the kids were really cute lah. hahahahahahaha/. and my group was OBEY! =D hahaha. can use Aunty Cindy's favourite phrase "Obey without delay". =P

hahah. yupyup. then went for P&W! oh. ice-breakers first. haha. yupyup. then there was lesson. haha. then lunch, then nap. nap time was awesome lah. haha. cause we had a briefing for the games afterwards, then i went into Cana Hall, and fell asleep along with the kids. well, i had to keep shushing the kids, cause there was this girl who kept asking me to shush them. haha.

yupyup. then there was games. quite messy. and i was lost. haha. cause we had to go to music room to get the stuff for the games after that. haha. then when we got in, the kids were playing red light green light. haha. chaotic!

well well. then lesson again, i think. then tea break and art and craft. haha. then the kids could leave. then my brother ran out on his own, then i couldn't find him. but thank God, i found him sitting at the stairs. then my other brother came to fetch him, then they went to find my parents.

and well, i had debrief. for super long. really really long. then my parents pangseh me. then Janelle also not staying the second night. sigh. but i had Olivia, Vanessa and Faith! yay! haha. went to roxy to eat with the rest of the people. haha. we took up alot of space there. haha. =P

then me and Olivia and Vanessa went to parkway to find Pearlyn and the others. haha. then we went to Pearlyn's house to get Olivia's and Vanessa's stuff. cause they were staying over at church too! =D

hahah. then we went back to church. haha. lol. played monopoly deal. =D haha. and got trashed by Aaron. wow. what a surprise eh. haha. oh wells. then since i was like desperate to get a shower, i bathed in the male toilet. wowowoowwo. shock. haha.

i never wanna go into a male toilet ever again. seriously. it's a rude shock. haha. i still feel safer in the female toilet, thankyouverymuch. but i bathed super super quickly lah. hahah. like really really fast. haha.

oh wells. then went to music room to play monopoly deal. haha. it smelled. but can you expect? it's the guys dorm. how nice-smelling could it get? haha. it's not like female dorm, where it's kept in perfect order. haha. and nice-smelling. haha.

and Desirae gave me a nickname. haha. she calls me pudding! lol. not that i like it that much lah, but still. it's nice. =)

so. still got trashed by Aaron. not fun. haha. then like at 11plus, i think. me, Desirae, Andrea and Aaron went out to get some stuff. haha. then we went to drink milo peng. haha. sad Andrea didn't join us. haha. lol. so milo peng was great lah. cause like when we stopped playing at 1am, i immediately fell asleep. when we got back to the mini creche. haha. and slept until bout 6.30? hahaha. and then Aaron didn't wake up in time for breakfast! =(

and i didn't call him cause it thought he'd call me!. haha. oh wells. at least there was breakfast to eat. haha. lovely. =D

so then the next day, i spent time at the lobby welcoming the kids. it was great lah, greeting the kids the first thing in the morning. haha,. then there was P&W, then lesson. then the usual. well, i prayed for a few kids. and found them really meaningful. they could apply to me too.

then lunch was superb. it was chicken rice! yay. haha. i think there was games before that. and my group dressed Enos up! =D haha. so fun. haha. cause it was some kinda dress up your teacher contest. then the teacher who was dressed up had to do a cat walk. haha.

there were pretty interesting costumes. hahah. lovely. awesome.

then after lunch was naptime. for the kids. haha. the teachers went to spend time with God, waiting on Him. short time of P&W, but really powerful. the desire to wait on the Lord, the desire to serve Him. it was overpowering. then the Lord to me to pray for the specific few kids in my group, those whom i've actually saw as a burden, to the group.

but really touched. and through that, i've found out the desire, the hunger to serve the Lord. and the time spend talking to Him, spending time in prayer. i really enjoy them. and i never knew. it's never too late, but still. i'm still asking the Lord, for the many things in my life, like subject combination, streaming, friends, teachers, band. and so many more.

yep.yep. so then went back up for short time of P&W, then went into body ministry. prayed for the specific kids that were already in my mind, and saw that they were actually not what i thought they were. they were just shy, and didn't know how to express themselves. i pray. that the Lord's started working in their lives.

so. then there was art&craft after that. and it was chaotic. cause there was tee giving, tea break and A&C going on at the same time lah. well, i love the camp tee. =D haha. then so. did a quick A&C with alot alot of help from Elissa. she was a great help.

cause i was about going to explode, and cause i didn't know how to do the craft. haha. wells. thankyou! =D then got phototaking, then kids were dismissed. haha. so chaotic again. haha. but it was better. =D woohoo.

yupyup. then went for dinner. waited super long lah. i was like fainting, then Dexter had to destroy the shape of my tofu. wow thanks. haha. lol. but still. i'm just content with it back to it's original shape. and i shall never let it get into the hands of Dexter again. HAHA.

then then. Aaron treated me and Desirae to dinner.! =D yay! haha. cause it was quite pricey, and well, i'm sorta broke. hahah. then the super nice Aaron treated us to dinner. HAHA. then took the bus back with Desirae. haha. she lives only a stop away from me! =D

seems like alot of people live near me eh? that's so cool lah. haha. and i reached home at 9plus. wow. so there was band the next day. but it was super cool, cause we had a Japanese tutor. haha. really cool.

and thanks to Kahei who could speak Japanese. =D

so. that was basically my week, friday was sorta wasted on the net watching Down With Love. haha. and i didn't finish my homework lah. haha. oh yeah. for VBC, Sheila was the mentor for Obey! and Enos the teacher! and me the sheperd! =D ahah. awesome. and i kopped Aaron's jacket for day two. HAHAH. cause it was freezing! and i think i was ill or something. HAHA.

so. then sunday. haha. ate with Janice at subway, then went back to church to do homework, haha. awesome. i shall study at church more often. it's really motivating. and quiet. ahhaa. then Aaron taught me maths. =D yay!

haha. then he walked me to the bus stop. haha. well. sweet. haha. hmmm. then the next day i was plagued with headaches and a runny nose. and i had an inkling that it was Aaron who passed it to me since he was like sorta ill the day before. haah.

then then i had a wonderful week at school, cause Eunice went to Czech, and i had her table to myself. HAHA. so fun. hmmm. so mr eng's back at school after his viral infection or whatever. haha. well, i still look forward to him fainting again and getting sent back to the hospital. HAHA.

oh well. so the next big thing coming up's Speech Day, 10April. band's performing American Grafitti! HAHA. then the week after, on 17April is Band Night! Vivace One! =D the band will be performing super cool songs lah. like Ponyo! and a few standard overtures. HAHA.

and Aaron'll be going if i'm performing! YAY! haha. now i've gotta go get more people to go. HAHAH. i'll just go plan my target list now. byebye =D
