I'M FINALLY BACK! hahah. MIA-ed for a while.almost a month.so.nothing much really happened,other than band prac. but the biggest thing that has happened just recently was the CM camp! =D
hahah.i went for camp!yeah.but anyways,it was great.it rocked.to the max.cause for the fact that i'm a jiejie! =D HAHAHA.lol.
so.i was a helper.in games.hahah.and i went on monday and tuesday.hahahaha.didn't go on wednesday.sad.stupid band prac.
haha.so..let's see.on sunday,me and Janice went for the briefing.on games.HAHA.but yeah.the games looked fun.lol.so then on monday,me and Janice reached church at 8.okay.i reached at 8.15.HAHA.
lol.
then we stayed and slacked,stayed for praise and worship!haha.helped Aaron do the powerpoint. haha.like changing the slides.hahah.the camp theme song's nice!so then we helped out in the ice-breaker games.HAHAH.
and i hid in a not-so-strategic spot.haha.but yeah.it was fun.HAHA.then we helped to cut out the name tag thing.haha.nice lah.the name tag.so then we went for lunch...it wasn't that good.haha.
then we went to the st. andrew's village.HAHA.on the bus.and it was uber packed.so me, Sabrina and Andrea had to squeeze on a seat.HAHAH.and the bus driver was really young. HAHA. anyways,we were singing in the bus!haha.so fun lah. hahaha.
then.we reached there.lol.the hall's cool.HAHA.helped them move the stuff to the hall.thenwe went down to the games area.haha.then we sat there waiting for the kids.haha.hmmm.and i was in CHAMPS! haha.
it's a teacher group formed to play against the kids group.since the games on the first day were all versus games and there were only 9 groups.haha.so we had like no points to talk about whatsoever.but we were just playing for fun.
so..me,Sabrina,Joel,Benedict,Eugene,ZhangPei,Amandia and Joanne were in the same group. haha.but like along the way a few people came along.too.hahaha.
we played the poison ball first.haha.it was okay,i guess.but Joanne jiejie sprained her right foot cause she stepped on a ball.aww.so sad.but yeah.then we played captain's soap! =D
it's captain's ball,only that the ball becomes a bar of soap and the captain has to catch it with a butterfly net.HAHA.funny lah.the soap was like really gross lah.but it was fragrant.like while we were playing,the whole place had a nice smell to it! =D
anyways,it was funny.haha.and Luke broke a chair while standing on it.HAHAHA.but we were not supposed to take chairs.HAHAHAHA.
yeah.so then we played hearts!it's abit like snakes and ladders,but two groups will play at a time. one going from 1 to 30 and the other vice versa.and the group that can get as many people across to the other side wins.but there are hearts on the floor that can be picked up,and it's either a reward or punishment.hahah.
and benedict and joel got drawn on the face.james too!HAHAH.
then we played Bishy Bashy!HAHAH.it's the hamburger one.HAHA.we were like supposed to be an ingredient each.then we were supposed to run to the other end of some place and see what order we were supposed to be placed in.then we were supposed to lie down on the floor in that order.haha.
then the station masters bullied us.say we must hop there,then if we wanna run must wait 2 seconds then can run.sad.i think we won 2 rounds only.and those were the rounds with like alot alot of ingredients.haha
i helped win in one lah!it was the last round.we were supposed to send someone out and memorise the order format.then run back and tell the group.and i suay suay kenna.haha.but the kids had 50seconds to memorise and i had only 30.sad.
but yeah.then i was like memorising like mad lah.but then we still won that round.which shows that our memory's actually better than the kids loh.HAHAH.but must let them lah.cause we don't get any points.
we're just there to make up the number.haha.but it was still fun.and tiring.haha.
anyways,we played floorball next.but i didn't play.cause like it was 9 kids to 5 teachers.so i didn't play! =D but the sticks or whatever it's called was really extreme lah.hahah.they used like super alot of newspapers and masking tape.HAHA.
lol.then it was shower time!haha. i didn't bathe lah.duh.me and Sabrina stayed to watch the guys play soccer cause we had to help take care of Enos' stuff.then we went up to the hall to watch the praise and worship rehearsal.
then we went down for dinner!! =D dinner was good. =) haha.but we had to sit outside at the longkang there cause there were not enough chairs for the teachers.but i didn't mind lah.it wasn't too warm or anything.HAHA.
then we moved up back to the hall for praise and worship.rocked.haha.then i went home halfway through the lesson.haha. =P
anyways,then i reached very early on tuesday.hahaha.cause daddy sent me there before going for work.and i was too lazy to take the bus myself.HAHA.lol.then i sat at the dining area before pouring the milo into the cups for the kids to serve.
and the kids taking the cups to serve were...rude.some.haha.some were nice. =)
yeah.then anyways,went back up to the hall for praise and worship and lesson.then broke for lunch.haha.lunch was okay.hahah.then went to slack at other people's games station for a while. haha.
then met the people who were supposed to be station masters with me!HAHA.lol.2 people who were helping out and Gideon.lol.so.then cause our game needed the elevation,we moved it from the round-about to the basketball court.HAHAH.
and the theme for the games on the 2nd day was super mario!HAHA.so there were camp comm members who were actually mushrooms and turtles.then the kids have to catch them and do something that they asked to get the bonus points from them.HAHAH.so funny.see them being caught =P
so then,our game was to catch balloons with the buterfly nets.HAHA.so we had to keep pumping the balloons to release to the kids to catch.haha.lol.they were good lah.one group caught 18 balloons in the 10mins.HAHA.
Jeshua was their star player lah!
anyways,then one group caught 13 balloons in 6mins before the games time ended.HAHA.
yeah.so.then there was this mass bishy bashy.HAHAH.lol.and Faith Tiew came! =D and she rebonded her hair.haha.i want to rebond my hair also!! =P
yeah.then i had a really good back rest.HAHAH.only a tad too skinny.hahah.but really really effective for my super tired back.HAHAH.then we took a group photo! =D
yeah.so then we went up to the hall.haha.then we went down to the first floor cause we wanted to eat biscuits!HAHA.then we went up again.and slacked until it was dinner.HAHA.
but dinner was good.HAHAH.i loved dinner.then cause there was the praying for teachers,the kids had to go back to their bunks to wait until praise and worship.and me,Sabrina and Valerie stayed there and chit-chatted then we went upstairs to see the kids.HAHAHAHAH.
we stayed there till praise and worship started.HAHA.praise and worship rocked to the max lah! then it was lesson.Valerie went back after p&w.sad.hahah.yeah.anyways,then it was the altar call.
Vanessa prayed for me. =) it was great lah.and the presence of God hadn't been so strong in any of the other camps that i'd been to.touched. =D felt the Agape!
oh.yeah.Agape means unconditional love in Greek.and it's the theme of the camp!love.and the camp verse was John 3:16! HAHAH.so all the songs in p&w is about God's love towards us. =D and all the group names mean love in different languages,from the Middle East,Asia and Scandinavia.HAHA.
and for the groupless people,we're in Aloha which is from the Pacifc.HAHA. =)
yeah.so.Vanessa was super nice.she prayed for me. =) and i didn't pray for the kids cause i didn't feel ready to be able to pray for them yet.so.yeah. ;) so.then stayed for a while before daddy came to pick me up.
yeah.but this year's camp was really good.God's presence was there during praise and worship, during altar call.it was really a moment which God reminded me of His love,no matter whether for me or anyone else for that matter.
and i thank God for Vanessa! though i still can't really tell the difference between her and Valerie. HAHA.
yep.so.that's about it.and i didn't go for camp yesterday cause i had band prac!and i totally regretted.Aaron said that it was fun.and they went to dakota to give some love to the elderly there.haha.
yeah.so.great job,Caleb!and team.obviously.and korkor Darius.cause he also taught me alot. =D
and it's a long post today.hahah.to try and make up for my MIA-ing.HAHAHA.bye people!
