the school library has me wanting to puke right now. haha. been cooped up in the library the whole of last week and the past few days just studying non-stop. and i found out one thing. i can concentrate better while studying on white tables. HAHA.
and Mrs Lim is the coolest teacher EVER. she's more than half a century old, has red cropped hair with a super cool fringe, wears GREEN skinnys, and the occasional purple and listens to SHINee. HAHAHAHA. so yesterday, cause there were guests at the school, and i think the teachers were supposed to bring them around.
then Mrs Lim brought them to the library and she said hello to the librarian in a singsong voice, then turned to the people studying and said in the same manner, "Hello girls!" HAHA. it was so awkward. and i almost burst out laughing. heh. but Mrs Lim's cool like that.
the exams were pretty much okay, except for a certain annoying invigilator. making weird noises with his mouth and coughing like crazy, comes in late to give out the scripts, has a burnt hole in his pants, collects slowly. and the only reason why i noticed was because i sat at the front. and well, i was VERY annoyed TTM by him throughout the four days.
totally couldn't concentrate during the paper. oh, did i mention, he doesn't take notice of the clock when we're supposed to start and pays extra extra attention when we're about to end? RAGH.
so, well, blame him for being inexperienced. inexperienced teachers shouldn't be invigilating exams. especially when it's streaming. well. and he stares at me. seriously. caught him a few times. totally pissed me off. plus he stares at my paper for SUPER SUPER long. ANNOYING.
still, the exams were crap. prayed alot alot alot alot. for everybody else in school taking the exams too. and i hope it helped. heh. and thank God they're over. it's the end of something called mindless mugging too. haha.
oh. was watching The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button just now. haha. it's pretty nice. i think it was well directed. :) pretty touching. at the part when he left his daughter and all cause he was growing young. and i wonder why i didn't catch it the time when it came out. haha. made me tear quite a few times. heh.
so. the lit exam was...i wasn't really prepared. haha. didn't even know whether i wanted to do themes or characterisation. so i did characterisation in the end. haha. it was easier than the themes question. lovely.
been using quotes from Twelfth Night. and i think they're really meaningful. sometimes. haha. but i have to get down to reading the whole play. aww man. i like the notes that Mr Sng prepared for us. haha. much nicer to read than the book itself.
the history exam was...haha. just haha. all of us thought the WWII would come out for source based, but instead it came out for essay. HAHA. and well, as expected, Separation and Merger came out for essay. and i did WWII. HAHA. looked pretty simple. and one of the essays was done before! :D
argh. the next thing coming up is the competition at Genting. what an awesome competition eh. missing CM camp cause of it. RAWR. i still want the camp tee!! :P it's non-stop band mugging from now on. Singapore Rhapsody and Persis. i wanna play Persis again! :D
here's a quote from The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button:
'For what it's worth: it's never too late or, in my case, too early to be whoever you want to be. There's no time limit, stop whenever you want. You can change or stay the same, there are no rules to this thing. We can make the best or the worst of it. I hope you make the best of it. And I hope you see things that startle you. I hope you feel things you never felt before. I hope you meet people with a different point of view. I hope you live a life you're proud of. If you find that you're not, I hope you have the strength to start all over again.'- Benjamin Button (Letter to his daughter)
