the NE carnival today was better than expected. and the highlight was...Ms Thang dressing up in the chinese opera costume. makeup and all. haha. photos will be up on FB. :P
but the NE talk was awesome pretty good. really brought up stuff that i can a misconception about. like seriously. foreigners coming to Singapore and feeding all sorts of things into our brains. saying that we hang the most people and our laws are very strict and we have no freedom of speech to name a few.
seriously. if you never did anything that's against the law, would you be afraid of the strict laws? i would say no. duh. which person in the right mind would say yes?! and our freedom of speech. sure, we're not able to insult our PM on national tv unlike the US. but our broadcasters are able to say 'Merry Christmas' on air. unlike the US.
and well, we are given the right of responsible freedom of speech. seriously lah. Singapore's awesome. no matter what shit and crap foreigners say about Singapore. foreigners are foreigners. not only the angmohs are powerful and should be given special rights cause they're white.
in a nutshell, Singapore is awesome. people who come here and criticise are people who don't know better. they think just because they work in the CBD and stay in landed property means they know what's going on. oh pooey. no, you don't.
go to the heartlands and see dude. stop staying in your posh landed property thinking that you're better than everybody else cause you work in CBD. and you smoke.
again, Singapore is awesome. do we have earthquakes? no. do we have hurricanes? no. do we have huge protests? no. do we have volcanic eruptions? no. number of natural disasters, zero. (that is, if not counting the flooding at Orchard Road. HAHA. but that's irrelevant)
we've got a squeaky clean government. and whoever said squeaky clean was bad was totally WRONG. and Singapore is just awesome. and whoever said that NE is propaganda is WRONG.
and. Christian Chua is an awesome speaker. HAHA. funny funny. :D
band was just totally sucky. hard reeds and hurting abdomens. how awesome is that. thank God it was self-prac. :D rumbah and no more blues can go suck my socks. Mr Ong plays them so slowly and i can fall asleep while playing.
seriously. and well, my reputation for falling asleep anywhere and everywhere is quite awesome. haha. even during band. :P
the school is just totally...ugh. they take away marking day and leave us with one pathetic promotion day. and on promotion day, there's band prac as usual. why can't it be moved to the morning manz. thanks arh.
oh wells. section lunch tomorrow anyway. can't wait. HAHA.
