so, it's been a whirlwind week! :D haha. full with Tioman and CAC! haha. okay. so. let's see.
28May '10 [Thursday] - 31May '10 [Monday]
skipped school that day. haha. and band too. :D awesome. haha. so then went to Tioman with my aunts and my great aunts. haha. awesome. with my family too lah. obviously. haha. anyway, so it was great, being back at Tioman. :)
it's a really pretty place, with scenery all around like it was drawn by an artist. anyway, so we stayed at the same place as the last time we went two years ago, ate at the same place, met the same people.
and nothing actually changed that much in two years. it's really the same. especially the place. it's really awesome. like i've actually gone back in time to two years ago when i first went to Tioman. haha. it's not like Singapore, where almost everyday a new road diversion happens and you don't actually know how to travel along that road anymore unless you use it everyday.
so then, the place was the same, even the boat used to go out to sea was exactly the same. even the boatman, Uncle Zainal :D haha. minus Aunty Aisyah's few sons. haha. but they're really quite cute. :D
so anyway, we had fresh fish that was caught daily. awesome. really healthy. haha. and it's the mango season, hence everywhere that we went, we could actually smell the mango smell. it's really fragrant lah. and really strong too.
and it was all over the floor loh. we could pick up one and just cut it open, and it'd be fresh and ready to eat! haha.
and the monkey that they kept was still the same! only that the chain's now shorter, so it's not so easy for the monkey to reach out to us. haha. and the waterfall, and the stream there were still the same, no change at all. it's awesome.
and there was a house we saw that was being built when we went there the last time, and only now it's just been finished. haha. and it's still building an extension. HAHA. the people there really take their own time to do stuff loh. haha.
it's really amazing there. when the sun rises, people wake up and go about their daily things, and when the sun sets, people go to sleep. and since there wasn't any tv or internet there, i didn't actually have much to do after dark. haha.
and the streetlights there are weird too. they're few and far between. haha. and when they overheat, it will turn off automatically by itself and turn itself on again when it had cooled down. but it's quite dangerous to go about at night, cause it's dark. really dark.
so, me and my siblings and my cousins played cards! haha. so fun loh. haha. then we'd all go to sleep when we're tired. haha. awesome. and we didn't really snack, like three main meals and for the day we'd be out at sea snorkeling or fishing.
so i got a really good tan and loss a lil bit of weight! HAHA. so we went snorkeling. super duper fun. the coral and everything were really pretty. :) and fishing was fun too! we got alot of fish and i stayed around the boatman. haha. cause they caught the most fishes :D
so, all in all, it was a really good place to escape from the world. with almost no connection to the world outside the island, it was really good to just hang around all day going out to sea and sleeping, and dipping my feet in the stream. and the five days really passed in a flash. when we were going back, i felt as if i'd just arrived.
but the downside is, staying there will make the brain go weird. haha. it's be very funny to think after that. haha. so i experienced that. HAHA. so funny loh. it'll go cuckoo! :X

so anyway, on tuesday after i came back, i went for that NUS Engineering thing. haha. the only reason why i went was cause Eunice was going and she had to pass me my homework. haha. cause there isn't any other day that we go back to school on the same day. HAHA.
so it was pretty much a waste of time loh. cause i wasn't interested at all. thank God that me and Alicia were in the same group, so we wouldn't be bored. HAHA. so then anyway, we had a quiz thingy, so then my group won 5th prize. HAHA.
so we had $30 worth of Popular book vouchers. HAHA. divided among the 5 people of the group. awesome.

okay, so the next day was CAC! aka Creative Arts Camp :D was anticipating it the whole time. haha. and the night before i was still sms-ing Kelly, Janelle and Faith about it. haha. i think i used like one-fifth of my sms-es lah. HAHA. so anyway, i reached super early cause Mummy had to send me to church and she had to rush off to work. haha.
so then Mummy dropped me off at parkway, then i walked super slowly towards MCP. haha. there i waited for Janelle. haha. then she came, then i went to buy sweets to last me throughout the camp. HAHA.
then so, we walked to church, on the way we saw Kelly. HAHA. then Faith met us at Bethel hall. HAHA. lol. so anyway, we split up into our groups. RAWR. Kelly and Faith were in the same group, while me and Janelle were seperated. RAWR!
haha. anyway, so i was in the same group as Jingrong and Luke Poon! he's like darn cute lah! <- i mean Luke Poon. HAHA. and other people, obviously.
haha. then cause my group was like pathetic, Andrea and Zhangpei had to do ice-breakers for our group. HAHA. cause got no teachers. lol. anyway, it was fun! :D then the usual stuff. P&W, then workshop! HAHA. me and Faith were in guitar! woohoo. so fun. it was awesome loh.
then Cheryl came! woohoo. awesome. someone i know. :D
err, then lunch. haha. then we moved off to Saint Andrew's Village. HAHA. then games! haha. pathetic starch game. haha. obviously my group lost lah. then we had the game where we had to bite a spaghetti and cross some obstacle of some kind. RAWR.
haha. we lost that too. :S haha. then then captain's ball! but it was some modified kind. HAHA. but it was fun. my group against Kelly's group. oh wells, thanks to Jingrong and Eugene, my group won. HAHA. i scored a goal too! HAHA.
lols. then bathing. woohoo. me, Faith, Janelle and Kelly were the first ones to go to the toilet. which was awesome lah. didn't have to wait. haha. :D then dinner, P&W, message. awesome. the Holy Spirit was in our midst.
so then we went to bed. haha. i was really tired lah, but i really couldn't sleep the whole night loh. haha. and i woke up with a terrible backache the next morning. :X
so errs. the next day was awesome. morning exercise was ridiculous. haha. jump like crazy. woohoo. then P&W, message. really awesome.Ee Foo and Aaron prayed for me. thankyou yoz! :D then we had workshop! awesome. learnt 'How Great Is Our God' and 'Deep Deep Down Down'.
haha. then lunch and workshop again. RAWR. really tiring loh. hmm. then games! dirty games. haha. so then Gillian [Peck] and Shuxin and Aaron took my group. haha. cause my group the teachers all sick. couldn't take us. RAWR.
so anyway, the first game was really a waste loh. HAHA. cause we split water all over the ground. but we won. haha :P then the second game was the best lah. the most awesome game :D haha. we had to slide across a canvas of soapy water to the other side, then scissors-paper-stone the person from the other group. HAHA. super fun :D
Kelly Chew was laughing the whole time lah! still had to wait for her to finish laughing then can play. HAHA. then Faith Tiew was like aching all over while she slid. HAHA. so funny. see the way she slide, and her facial expression. HAHA.
lol. my group won AGAIN. :D
then the last game was ridiculous. seriously dumb. feeding ice-cream?! doosh. anyway, it was really dumb cause Aaron fed ice-cream all over my face and to my neck. bleh. SUPER GROSS. it was like sticky!
then i had to queue up like SUPER LONG to bathe lah. and Janelle, Kelly and Faith had bathed already. doosh. they never queue up for me. RAWR. :X lol. then dinner was really funny! haha. Ryan wanted to know what was my name, so then he called me 'sexy girl'. HAHA.
super funny :D haha. then me and Jingrong called him 'fat boy'. HAHA. and i also found out that Jingrong cannot peel bananas. HAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAH. cause Luke was asking him to peel the banana for him, then JR was like looking all over the banana trying to see where to peel it. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH. i almost laughed my head off lah. :PP
haha. so then the message that day was really touching, if it could be called this way. cause i don't know what word to use for it. anyway, it was really great. cause Andrea and Pearlyn prayed for me. :D
and when Pearlyn prayed for me, i was like really touched by God, and i started crying. seriously. like everything. i cried and cried, hugging Pearlyn. :) i didn't even know i had so many things that i kept inside and never let it out. really awesome. the Lord really knows what's inside your heart, even what you don't even know. :D awesome God.
then Gillian [Peck] prayed for me too. :D really awesome. awesome awesome. my God is an awesome God. and i'm proud to say that i'm a friend of God! :D so the Lord replaced the grief in my heart for His joy. :D and i feel alot alot lighter now. :D
so then the next day was really argh. HAHA. we got on the bus really early, and i was sleeping on the bus back to church. RAWR. the journey was like super fast lah, and i didn't sleep enough. HAHA. anyway, then we had devotion and breakfast! WOOHOO. i was STARVING.
anyway, then P&W, and message. i've really come to love messages :D haha. cause i like it when the Lord touches my heart. :D so then Jasmine prayed for me. and another torrent of tears came. haha. really. really touched.
i was like really in awe of God. like i still had stuff to give to the Lord and i hadn't finished giving yet. and i didn't actually realise it. but the Lord knows. and yeah. i fell face down on the ground in awe of Him. :)
then it was lunch and then band time! haha. we got together as a band and rehearsed the songs. :D haha. and Ben Yeo was our band director. HAHA. and i had a intro and solo chorus for 'How Great Is Our God' and it got me jittery the whole day lah. especially nearing the performance.
haha. and i skipped dinner. haha. i had no appetite. :S RAWR. haha. went to talk to my Meimei aka Jaslyn! :D HAHA. so, P&W in chapel, then performed in chapel. RAWR. so scared! haha. but thank God, at least i played okay for my solo. :D
but thank Ben Yeo for the chance too. :D haha. and Luke was like super cute lah! and super clever. when Aaron showed him the way to play the song once, he could immediately catch the thing and play it. awesome. :D haha.
anyway, so we had an after party after everybody left. HAHA. so fun. cause we were like super high, then we were jumping around singing praises! :D awesome. haha. but i was really tired out loh. HAHA.

anyway, then the weekend was slack. haha. sunday was really cool. haha. went for 1st, then went for lunch with Janelle at subway. cause mummy and my bro sent my grandma to church, they went parkway shopping. haha. and they walked into subway without even seeing me loh. HAHA.
so funny. haha. but mummy let me go out with Janelle. haha. we went and got scoopz. haha. then we went back church. talked to Meimei for a while. HAHA. then Janelle went home. lols. i went with Gillian [Peck] to buy her phone cover and to Starbucks. HAHA.
we chatted till like 2plus. haha. then i went back church to attempt to study, but i ended up reading till 4plus. haha. then i went home loh. HAHA.

awesome. yesterday was great. i did a lil bit of homework in the morning, then watch videos online, then practiced piano, clarinet and guitar. HAHA. great day. HAHA.
had band today, awesome. haha. miss Sia was super funny lah. haha. cause she took woodwinds for sectionals, i really had fun. haha. she really isn't as scary as she looks. but i'm still intimidated by her. HAHA.
then went to macs for lunch with the 4 other sec2s and Suyi. HAHA. pathetic. then after lunch, the 3rd clarinets had sectionals with miss Sia. it was awesome. haha. i don't actually like combined. haha. cause if she test one by one, it'll be really embarrassing if it's not played well. RAWR.

haha. oh yeah. me and Jingrong spammed Janelle and Kelly with our random conversation of FB. HAHA. it's like totally random lah! HAHA. but it's still on FB! :D AWESOME.
